Our Story
Our story
We wish we could say we met somewhere a bit more cinematic, but like many modern stories, ours started with a swipe.
What was meant to be a quick drink in London turned into hours of conversation, missed trains, and a connection that felt easy from the start. Looking back, it’s one of those moments we now see God’s hand in, even when we didn’t fully realise it at the time.
Over time, we built a life together in the city, balancing busy weeks with slow weekends, learning each other’s rhythms, and growing not just as a couple, but in our faith as well.
A few years later, we travelled to Barbados, a trip that felt like a pause from everything. One evening, as the sun set over the beach, Daniel got down on one knee. It wasn’t a big, elaborate moment, just the two of us, surrounded by creation, stepping into what we both knew God had been leading us towards.
Since then, we’ve come to see our relationship not just as something we found, but something we were guided into. A partnership rooted in love, patience, and a shared commitment to building something centred on Christ.
So when it came to choosing where to get married, it felt simple. Barbados wasn’t just where we got engaged, it was where we saw, clearly, the beginning of this next chapter.
We’re so grateful to God for bringing us together, and we can’t wait to celebrate this moment with all of you.
The Venue
Sandy Lane, Barbados
Set along Barbados’ Platinum Coast, Sandy Lane is one of the island’s most iconic beachfront addresses, refined, calm, and beautifully unhurried.
The ceremony will take place on the beach as the sun begins to dip over the Caribbean Sea. The reception follows for open air dining under warm light, long tables, music, and an evening that goes exactly as long as it should.

A week together (before the weekend)
If you’re able, we’d love for you to join us for a weeklong pre‑wedding holiday with our loved ones.
Think beach mornings, long lunches, a few shared adventures, and the kind of unplanned time together that we don’t get enough of at home.
Come for the week, the weekend, or anything in between, we’ll be grateful for whatever time you can share.
